Introducing Zarpar Experiences

We have launched Zarpar Experiencias, a new way to connect boat owners with people who want to sail. Zarpar started by helping boat owners with seventh list boat rentals, but we know that many of you don’t like the limitation of not being able to take the boat yourselves during the change of use. Or you simply want to meet new people to share your sea outings. Zarpar Experiencias is a platform where boat owners can offer spots during their sea trips and people who want to sail can sign up, sharing the costs among everyone.

⚓ A new era for recreational boat owners After months of waiting and rumors, it’s official: from August 15, 2025, you can legally charter your Lista septima boat for a limited period, thanks to the approval of Royal Decree 339/2024 and the publication of the final procedure by the General Directorate of Merchant Marine (DGMM). This is a historic change in Spanish maritime regulations that opens new opportunities for private boat owners, allowing them to monetize their vessel during the months they don’t use it… 100% legally.

An opportunity for boat owners The draft Royal Decree (in process as of January 2025) will allow a revolutionary change: boats registered in Lista septima (private use) may temporarily switch to commercial use for a maximum of 3 consecutive months per year.
